The following is a note I received from a helpful Dutch camera collector:

My camera was sold to my grandfather by "Fodor Import-Export, Rotterdam Holland". Fodor still
exists as the consumer electronics and photography branch of Borsumij Wery in The Hague. This is a
very large, but low profile trading house. I found that they are still importers of major Japanese
brands into Holland and Belgium. You can expect Fodor to have ordered series of cameras from Japanese
manufacturers built to their specs. Fodor themselves are in the Hoogstraat, Rotterdam and they either
have moved since the 1950's or the street itself was renumbered.
